Galaxy Tandem
This two-person Galaxy Tandem kayak is still designed to hold two adults and a child with a maximum weight capacity of 315 kg. The newest version of our staple model is still great for family outings but now comes with new copper inserts that allow you to connect our foot pedals to the centre console which converts the vessel into a solo kayak suitable for one person.

The seat and back rest can also be removed from the other positions and attached onto the central area of the kayak allowing you to paddle from a balanced position in the middle of the kayak while having full paddling support for your feet on the adjustable footrests.
This kayak can actually be used by one person comfortably and efficiently but also easily adapts to be paddled by two adults and a child. The ultimate hybrid for paddlers with multiple needs.
The new Tandem Solo kayak also has larger raised 8” (26cm) central storage hatches for increased storage ability.
Like all our models, the Galaxy Tandem Solo kayak has been thought out so that you can easily accessorise your kayak without ever drilling into its hull.
This model comes with nine copper inserts strategically placed around your kayak. One at the front and two on either side of each paddler. These inserts allow for easy and drill free installation of popular accessories like Railblaza Starports, Cameraboom or Camera Mount in the front of the kayak, and Flagwhip in the rear of the kayak.

If you’re interested in sailing on your kayak then these side supports are designed for the attachment of sails and keels when using a kayak sail system like the Vela Eola. Finally, if you are keen on fishing, these new lateral inserts are also ideal for the placement of rod holders and fishfinders.
To get you started on your accessory journey, we’ve included two original Railblaza Starports with the Tandem Solo as standard so that you can begin to accessorise your kayak with ease.
This model comes with a lifeline made from durable rope and an anchorage to support a motor included as standard.
And if you fancy a spot of fishing, well the Tandem Solo comes as standard with four flush mount rod holders so you can bring those rods along with you!
Like all Galaxy Kayaks, the Tandem Solo comes fully equipped with 2 premium seats and 2 paddles so all you need are lifejackets, and you are ready for your next adventure!
The all new Galaxy HV (High Visibility) Series™ comes with three lifelines and three Bungee chords in various colours. These are intended to make your kayak more visible for added safety on the water. These are included as standard in all kayaks from our new Galaxy HV Series™. They come in Orange, White and Black. This selection allows you to chose the final look you give your kayak; bright colours gain more visibility on the open water or dark ones camouflage with the shore line of a river – the choice is yours.

NEW: 1 lifeline made from durable rope: this durable rope allows fishermen to connect items to it and is helpful for manoeuvres such as anchor positioning. The new rope, versus the previous elastic, also improves the manoeuvrability of the kayak if the worst happens and you need to use it as a lifeline
NEW: 1 moulded anchorage in the rear of kayak for the ability to place an outboard motor.
NEW: 9 copper inserts strategically placed around your kayak. One insert is placed in the front of the kayak for accessories like the RailBlaza Camera Mount and Camerabooms using a Starport. Four inserts are placed on either side of the kayak for mounting various accessories and have been specifically designed to fit Railblaza Tracports. Finally, these side mounts are helpful for extra support for those interested in kayak sailing using a sail like the Vela Eola.

2 splash bags: that come within the hatches. Note, we recommend storing any fragile items, such as mobile phones, in dedicated waterproof containers(see NRS products) as humidity and condensation can still get within the splash bag
8 drainage points: located around the kayak allowing you to choose where to drain water whilst maintaining desired areas dry
8 scupper plugs: made from high-quality rubber. Insert and remove when required for the self-drainage system to activate
1 rear storage area: complete with bungees, this area makes it easy to transport items on the kayak
2 large flush mount fixed rod holders: for those times you fancy fishing
2 fittings: for a multidirectional rod holder (not included) or other accessories
2 paddle clips: to safely store your paddle when not in use
1 x bow and stern handle: for easy transport of your kayak

1 moulded drink holder: to carry easy access drinks to keep you hydrated
12 D rings: for easy clip-on of items such as seats
